Microtronix
was founded in 1990 with the mission to develop novel semiconductor
technologies for solid state storage devices. Microtronix has developed
a basic ferroelectric non- volatile memory technology with emphasis
on chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of thin film ferroelectrics such
as Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) and Strontium Bismuth Titanate
(SBT) and a novel MEMs technology, called WaferStak™. WaferStak
allows stacking of semiconductor chips, wafers or portions of wafers
to form three dimensional semiconductor devices. Both technologies
enable high density, high performance solid state storage devices.
